Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 16, 2026
This policy explains what information KNEXEN collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who creates a KNEXEN account or visits our public pages.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text), and anything you add to your profile: headline, location, company, job title, bio, skills, interests, and what you can help with or are looking for. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from that provider.
We also collect content you create on KNEXEN (posts, comments, connection requests, opportunities you share, and reports you file) and basic usage information (pages viewed, actions taken) used to keep the product working and to improve relevance of what you see.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate KNEXEN’s core features: showing your profile to other members, suggesting relevant people and opportunities, delivering notifications, enforcing connection and subscription limits, and moderating reported content. We do not sell your personal information.
Who can see your information
Your profile is visible to other members according to the visibility settings you choose in Settings. Your email address is never shown to other members. Content you post (ASK, OFFER, opportunities, comments) is visible to the audience appropriate for that content type. For example, community posts are visible to community members.
Third-party services
KNEXEN is built on Supabase (authentication, database and file storage) and hosted on Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Your rights and choices
You can review and update most of your information from Settings and Edit Profile at any time. You can control profile, location and discovery visibility in Settings, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us below.
